A Panchayat is a collective body of elected representatives responsible for managing the administrative affairs of Panchayat Raj Institutions. For a Grama Panchayat, it is the primary committee that implements the decisions of the Grama Sabha and handles day-to-day administration.The key components of a Panchayat are:President: The head of the Panchayat.
