About the Scheme
The Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (VB-G RAM G), implemented through MGNREGS, guarantees 125 days of employment to rural households in a financial year.

Employment Guarantee
The annual employment guarantee for rural households has been increased from 100 days to 125 days.
Improved Wages
The minimum daily wage has been fixed at ₹401. Wages are transferred directly to beneficiaries' bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Priority for the Agricultural Sector
A mandatory 60-day break is provided during the sowing and harvesting periods to support agricultural activities.
Use of Technology
Biometric systems, GPS (Global Positioning System), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are used for attendance recording, monitoring, and supervision.
Infrastructure Development
The scheme includes water security initiatives, livelihood-related infrastructure, and special works to address the challenges of climate change.
